The Stanford.Berkeley.UCSF Next Generation Faculty Symposium is a platform designed to highlight the work of exceptional early-career scientists in the broad field of quantitative biological and biomedical sciences, with a track record of research productivity and demonstrated contributions to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM.

The 2023 Next Generation Faculty Symposium will be a virtual event on November 17, 2023. Late-stage graduate students and postdoctoral fellows preparing to launch a faculty search are encouraged to apply! The event will feature 10 minute live-streamed talks from selected candidates and a Keynote presentation. Prior to the event, selected candidates will be paired with faculty mentors with similar research interests who can provide 1:1 mentorship surrounding the faculty job search process. Past participants have successfully launched independent labs at a variety of institutions across the country, providing a rich network of fellow star scientists.
